Off piste skiing and ski touring in Japan : Niseko - Hokkaido Island

Dates : Friday, January 25 to Sunday, February 3, 2019

i

Other dates possible : We have all noticed that the snow conditions in the European Alps are becoming increasingly uncertain and disappointing, particularly at the start of the season. That's why we suggest, if you are a group of 4 to 6 people / 2 groups possible, to spend your Christmas or New Year's ski holiday in Japan where during this period you are sure to find great powder snow.

This is also a wonderful period in Japan for off-piste skiing with excellent powder snow.

A very original way to celebrate the end of year holidays.

Make the choice of off-piste skiing in Japan in the best powder snow in the world

i

The resort of Niseko on the island of Hokkaido, near Sapporo, is the gateway to this region’s legendary off-piste skiing.

The island’s abundant and frequent snowfalls guarantee exceptional snow cover and skiing.  The powder snow in this region is generally considered to be among the finest in the world.

Although the region experiences frequent bad weather there are many opportunities to ski in the magnificent surrounding forests which offer exceptional visibility even in less than ideal conditions.

I

We will also take advantage of the off-piste skiing options in the nearby ski resorts of Furano, Tomamu, Asahidake, Kamui, Rusutsu where it is possible to find fantastic skiing on secluded and unfrequented pistes.

i

The very comfortable accommodation in a typical Japanese hotel, the world-renowned cuisine and the famous “onsen” baths fed by natural thermal hot water will complement the trip and guarantee many unforgettable memories.

i

Optional helicopter drops are available on demand.
